West Virginia defensive end Bruce Irvin. National Football Post
Bruce Irvin, defensive end, West Virginia (6-3, 245)
Bruce Irvin has been one of the NFP’s favorites all year because of his explosive first step and ability to threaten the corner. He played out of position in West Virginia’s 3-3-5 defense and was not consistently asked to play to his strengths. However, the undersized pass rusher has the ability to consistently force opposing quarterbacks to step up in the pocket and could be one of the premier sack artists to come out of the class.
NFL Ceiling: Von Miller-type pass rusher
NFL Floor: Nickel rusher only
