Georgia Tech WR Demaryius Thomas National Football Post
Demaryius Thomas WR Georgia Tech 6-3, 224
Thomas is the type of big, physical wideout who should quickly make Denver fans forget about Brandon Marshall. He's a raw route runner who isn't the most polished of wideouts, but should fit very nicely in Josh McDaniels' offense and has the upside to become a legit number one threat in the NFL.
Yep.
Too bad McDaniels and the GM couldn't have figured out a way to give Marshall a big contract with a decent out after the first couple of years when he wanted an extension last summer.
That way they'd have a receiver now that is exactly as good as Marshall.
It actually came down to the fact that Bowlen had no interest in paying BMarsh the type of money he wanted. Bowlen has seen this kid destroy his team through the DWill incident and the re-occuring temper tantrums.
As for Steve yoing last night, he thinks thomas is the same as BMarsh, so he doesnt understand why they got rid of him. I think he might not be able to read, since he only has to look up Marshalls legal backround to get a bit of an idea
that is it

Well its great that McD drafted a WR from a triple option system that in a couple of years could be as good as Brandon Marshall
