Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State Broncos (5-11, 192 pounds)

After speculation that the Dolphins would trade this pick to Kansas City for LT Branden Albert, Miami instead decided to hold onto their selection and take the best CB left on our board.  Although Jamar Taylor lacks the prototypical size for the position, he is an explosive and physical athlete that showed outstanding ability in all forms of coverage while at Boise State.  Because of his polish, Taylor is likely to start immediately for the Dolphins as a rookie.
