A woman has filed a lawsuit against Eagles running back LeSean McCoy alleging that she was struck, sprayed with a beverage and kicked off a party bus along the New Jersey Turnpike during a journey from Philadelphia to a New York nightclub on Dec. 18, 2012.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, a woman using the name “Mary Roe” has sued McCoy and is also seeking $50,0900 from Luxury Rentals Inc., the bus company. McCoy reportedly invited 15 women to join him on a party bus to the nightclub.
McCoy declined comment when asked about the matter on Tuesday. Per McLane, the woman alleges that McCoy and his bodyguard “Big John” were spraying women on the bus. McCoy or the bodyguard allegedly struck the woman in the face, knocking her to the floor of the bus and then she was kicked out of the bus alongside the road.
No criminal charges have been filed in this matter.
"The allegations against LeSean McCoy are completely, unequivocally false," McCoy’s attorney, Andrew Smith, said in a statement. "There are no criminal charges pending and no probable cause was ever found. This is sadly an attempt to extract money, and LeSean will vigorously defend any attempt to collect money through a personal-injury claim."
