Woodson returns to Raiders

Charles Woodson is back in the Silver and Black.

Woodson, originally a first-round pick of the Raiders in 1998, is returning to Oakland on a one-year deal.

The veteran cornerback was released by the Green Bay Packers in February. He had played for the Packers since 2006 after spending the first eight years of his NFL career with the Raiders.

Woodson has 55 career interceptions, including 11 returned for touchdowns.
