Over the past couple of days, there has been speculation that if the Baltimore Ravens don't sign Joe Flacco to a long-term deal, or if they don't use the exclusive franchise tag on him, that some team could make a run at the Super Bowl-winning quarterback.

"Some team" might just be in the Ravens' own division, as the perennial AFC North doormat, the Cleveland Browns, are getting a makeover with new ownership, front office, coaching staff and $40 million of cap space, says ESPN Cleveland.

It might allow the Browns to make a run at Flacco by structuring a deal in a way the cap-strapped Ravens would be hard pressed to match. Or it could force Baltimore to use the $20 million exclusive tag on Flacco, rather than the $14.6 million non-exclusive tag.

If the Ravens put the exclusive tag on Flacco, it would make it harder on them to keep other free agents like Dannell Ellerbe and Paul Kruger, whom the Browns might also covet if they reach free agency.
