The Detroit Lions placed wide receiver Golden Tate and pass rusher Ziggy Ansah on the physically unable to perform list.

Ansah tore his biceps and injured his shoulder in December and had offseason surgery. He led the Lions with eight sacks as a rookie.

Tate injured his shoulder and was sidelined for a minicamp.

The Lions also placed rookie wide receiver T.J. Jones on the list.

Jones is a sixth-rounder from Notre Dame who had arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
