Jim Zorn will stay on as quarterbacks coach of the Kansas City Chiefs after all.

The Chiefs announced Tuesday the remainder of new coach Romeo Crennel's staff, and Zorn will be retained as quarterbacks coach after there had been reports he would leave after being passed over for the offensive coordinator's job.

That role went to Brian Daboll instead after Zorn had been thought to be a contender. Earlier this off-season, the Chiefs denied Zorn the chance to make a lateral move as quarterbacks coach of the Chicago Bears by denying permission.
