Jack is currently one of the most respected agents in the NFL. His consistent success and no‐nonsense approach over the last 2 decades has earned him an elite reputation among his peers and NFL executives alike. When Jack executes a contract, other agents and general managers take notice because it is usually a precedent setting deal. He has single-handedly built one of the most profitable agencies in the country, while simultaneously maintaining a low profile. His clientèle has included first‐round draft picks, Pro Bowlers and high profile coaches. Three of Jack’s clients have been among the highest paid players
at their positions in the history of the NFL.
In 1987, when Jack negotiated his first contract, the team negotiator for the Browns at that time was Michael Lombardi. Over the next 20 years Jack and Michael negotiated numerous other contracts. Also, as the agent for Al Harris, one of the Packers’ premiere players, Jack negotiated with Andrew Brandt.

This weekend I traveled to Houston to visit one my best and brightest clients, Chester Pitts, starting left guard for the Texans.
This weekend I visited one of my biggest clients, Eric Steinbach, left guard for the Browns. I saw two ugly things: Eric going down with an injury, and the Browns falling apart in the second half of a game they had control of.
I had a chance to visit with a few players on Saturday night. Most of them told me that they felt rested, had a good practice week, had comfortable accommodations, and were generally enjoying London. As expected, some players enjoyed it a bit too much.
A lot of agents, like me, have built a network of NFL college scouts to rely on for inside information on pro prospects.
Each NFL team has between 5 -10 college
This weekend I was visiting my rookie client, 2nd round draft pick and starting safety for the Vikings, Tyrell Johnson (Arkansas State) in Minneapolis. In the meantime, I caught the sloppiest game of the week between the Vikings and the Lions.
There are 17 weeks in the season, and I make it a priority to see each of my clients, face-to-face. I believe many agents make the same effort, but I am convinced that the ones who don’t– eventually get fired by their clients.
Baltimore Ravens Nose Tackle Kelly Gregg will undergo micro-fracture knee surgery by Dr. James Andrews tomorrow to correct a left knee problem. Gregg had his knee scoped in August and has been unable to play so far in 2008.
Guard Chester Pitts of the Houston Texans will start his 100th consecutive game this weekend against the Colts. Known by many NFL fans from last year’s hit Super Bowl commercial
Simply put, all opinions and analysis of the spleen trauma have come back with consistent results. There is a laceration of the Spleen which, at this point, will not require surgery.
