From Vaughn McClure of The Chicago Tribune:
The Bears are certain to have a new defensive line coach next season, but will it be Rod Marinelli?

A radio station in Detroit reported that the former Lions coach received a formal offer from the Bears to coach the defensive line. Marinelli met with Lovie Smith last week and is reportedly now in Seattle receiving consideration for the Seahawks' defensive coordinator position.
Marinelli's agent, Frank Bauer, could not be immediately reached for comment.
Brick Haley, the Bears defensive line coach, was spotted on the LSU campus Monday afternoon, according to Randy Rosetta of the Baton Rouge Advocate. Haley is expected to assume the same title with the Tigers, although head coach Les Miles has yet to confirm the hiring.
Marinelli and Smith are close friends from their days together on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff. General manager Jerry Angelo, who also worked with the Bucs, said he would love to have Marinelli join the Bears.
