From ProFootballWeekly.com: The Bengals released SS Dexter Jackson on Friday. Jackson started 28 games in three seasons in Cincinnati, but he started and played only three games in 2008 because of thumb and hamstring injuries. Jackson, 31, has played for Tampa Bay, Arizona and Cincinnati. He earned Super Bowl XXXVII MVP honors after intercepting two passes in Tampa Bay's 48-21 win vs. Oakland. The Bengals also released three first-year players: OG James Blair, CB Marcus Brown and DE Victor DeGrate.
