Bengals hire Brian Braswell as assistant line coach

The Cincinnati Bengals hired Brian Braswell as assistant offensive line-quality control coach.

He has coached since 2005 at Morehouse.

Braswell, 35, was with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010 and the Bengals in 2013 as part of the NFL’s Bill Walsh Minority Internship coaching program.

“Brian is an energetic guy who finds ways to contribute, and we’re happy to add him on for 2014,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. “We were very impressed with the work he put in for us in the offseason and training camp last year.”
