While this has not yet been confirmed, I’ve been hearing a lot of talk from some reliable sources that have indicated New England Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel could be traded to the Kansas City Chiefs very soon.
Stay tuned. Things are heating up.
UPDATE: Adam Schefter of NFL.com has confirmed the trade has been completed.

Add a CommentKC fans; if this happens, should be very happy. Cassel is a player. A real honest to goodness NFL QB who can win games in this league. There's no better option out there IMO.
hmm... I think he'll find that playing qb is a little different when you don't have Moss, Welker, a line full of pro bowlers, and Belichick's discipline combined with the spread offense.
Plus, I thought Thigpen looked good. Oh well...guess we'll see.
