The Detroit Lions have just agreed to trade quarterback Jon Kitna to the Dallas Cowboys, sources close to the teams have just informed me.  As of right now, all I've heard is that the Cowboys have given up "late picks" in exchange for Kitna.

More on this story as it develops.

Cowboys have Nos. 51, 69, 97 (from the Lions in the Avril trade), 113, 148, 158, 184, 193 (from the Lions in the Roy W trade), and 210.

Sweet. This should be a vast improvement over Johnson at backup QB. With BDawk gone the Iggles secondary will get toasted by the Boys next year. Sorry Joe.

I will miss the...

OK...not much. Much better than Harrington, but the lack of a supporting cast got to ye John, and then the frustration set it. I think a couple of the concussions got to him to. Seemed to get a little more crazy later in his stay in Detroit.

Loved the naked "Coach Cullen" Halloween costume. His wife went as Wendy's "Wendy", complete with drive through headset on.

Read that it is Henry that is traded.

Looks like it was Kitna for Anthony Henry. Seems like a move to free up some cap space and "solve" the backup problem. Not horrible, but it leaves question marks at the safety position. Tell me we're not going to rely on Roy Williams again.
