Scott - thanks, I'm curious to hear what he has to say about this.
Sean McDermmott, db coach for Eagles would be my choice. He has been serving under Jimmy Johnson for a number of years and has coached more than 1 position which leads me to believe he has an overall feel of an attacking 4-3. Pack can't go 3-4 without major retooling.
I've became a Packer fan when Vince came to town. I was glad to the work that Sherman did putting a championship team on the field. I thought he bit off more than he could chew though. After Robert Brooks got hurt and Reggie White retired, they were in trouble. Favre was a killer with Brooks on the field and the "D" was effective with Reggie there. Since Reggie retired, the defensive line has been the problem ... can't get to the QB and can't get off the field. McCarthy and Thompson screwed up BIG TIME handling Favre and ignoring the defense. The reason we weren't in the SuperBowl last year and this year too was the defensive line...not whether Brett wantede to retire. There wouldn't have been an issue if he would seen those two clowns doing anything positive with the defense. They need to GO. They threw away an all Pro offensive line and crapped up an average defensive line. LOSERS. That's how you go from an unfulfilled 13-3 to a pathetic 6-10.

Gimpy;
Rumor has it that Campen could be going under the bus too.
If I were in charge Campen would be released and the Bronco offensive line coach would be brought in to coach the zone scheme. Bronco's have run that scheme for years with much success.
The lingering question is about the zone scheme working in cold weather.
