Brian Cushing has undergone three offseason surgeries

Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing has undergone three surgeries this offseason.
That includes procedures on his broken right wrist and arthroscopic surgeries on his left ankle and left ankle. “Left ankle, left knee — the same knee I’ve had all the issues with,” Cushing told the Houston Chronicle. “It’s not uncommon for stuff like that to happen. It’s just little things here and there, the residual effects of two major surgeries and injuries, the wear and tear of playing throughout the season. “There were still some things bothering me a little bit. Just went in there and had real good success in both areas and looking forward to a very healthy and productive season. We have the technology and the doctors, especially in Houston, to do a simple, minor procedure like that. Go in, clean whatever needs to get out of there and just feel better.”
Cushing started 14 games last season despite the injuries. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
