Browns to interview Josh McDaniels on Saturday

New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is set to interview for the Cleveland Browns' head coaching vacancy, according to ESPN.

The interview is set for Saturday in New England after firing Browns coach Rob Chudzinski.

McDaniels is highly regarded by Browns executive Mike Lombardi, who has close ties to McDaniels and Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

McDaniels was fired in his second season as the Denver Broncos coach before working for the St. Louis Rams and then rejoining the Patriots' coaching staff.

The Browns also want to interview Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase.
