The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gone to great lengths to sell season tickets, lowering prices for several years and creating flexible payment options, among other offerings.

Now, the club is asking roughly 400 season-ticket holders to move at Raymond James Stadium.

According to the Tampa Tribune, the Bucs want to shift a small number of season-ticket holders around in order for them to accommodate more large groups for games. That way they could market tickets to larger groups, up to as many as 500 people in some groups, according to the report.

“We are designating certain sections of the stadium for large groups in an effort to create the best possible atmosphere and experience at Buccaneers home games," the club said in a statement.

The club was adamant it will not be removing seats from the stadium or tarping them to help with ongoing sluggish sales.

The team is offering the affected fans a chance to move to seats in a similar price range. If they choose to remain where they are, they will be seating in group sections and not with regular season-ticket holders.
