SUMMARY - Leonardo Bates has given this Ragin Cajun Offensive Line great versatility. Starting out his career he proved but be a solid guard but was able to move outside his senior year to protect the blindside, where he performed admirably. He is best suited to get a look as a guard at the next level do to his slow footwork when kicking out to block on an island. The major concern is that he is an undersized player for the interior but does play with great tenacity. He does have the frame to add weight but is still a fringe prospect at best. Overall Bates is worth a look at a camp but will struggle to match up physically with defenders at the NFL Level.
