SUMMARY - Kwame Geathers is a mammoth human being and has the outstanding length that defensive coordinators love, but his athletic limitations will prevent him from being able to play at the next level. He is too tall to play inside, as at 6053 he struggles to maintain proper leverage at the POA. He is sluggish off the snap, which allows quicker blockers to get underneath him and control him at the POA. This often results in him being driven off the LOS on run plays against both single and double teams. He lacks the speed and foot quickness to make plays away from him when free at the POA, rendering him completely ineffective unless runs are directly at him. Despite his size and natural strength he is not effective on bull rushes because of his poor leverage off the snap, and was consistently subbed out on pass plays because of his lack of quickness and poor conditioning. If he is to have any chance at playing at the NFL level he will need to drop significant weight and improve his conditioning, but he is unlikely to ever make an impact because of his athletic and size limitations.
