From Todd Archer of The Dallas Morning News:
The Cowboys made sure Marc Colombo will not test the free agent market this off-season.
According to two sources, the Cowboys and Colombo have reached an agreement on a four-year contract extension through 2012. The financial details are expected to be finalized this week.
Colombo was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent after the season, but the Cowboys have been in talks with Colombo's agent, Jimmy Sexton, throughout the season.
With Colombo signed, the regular starting offensive linemen are under contract through 2010. Left guard Kyle Kosier, who is out for the year with a foot injury, is signed through 2010, while Colombo and center Andre Gurode are signed through 2012. Left tackle Flozell Adams and right guard Leonard Davis are signed through 2013.
