Cook expects to play; Britt up in the air

If the Tennessee Titans are to have any shot of upsetting the Houston Texans, they will need as many playmakers as possible.

Tight end Jared Cook and receiver Kenny Britt were both out on Wednesday with injuries. On Thursday, Cook was back in limited non-contact work, and tells TitanInsider that he expects to play on Sunday.

“I feel pretty good,” Cook said. “It's been going better than we expected, so we're gonna see on Sunday.”

Asked if he felt he would play against the Houston Texans, Cook replied, “That's what I'm banking on. It's an important game and I wouldn't want to miss it.”

The news on Britt sounds a little more iffy as he tries to make his way back from an ankle sprain.

"I'm feeling better than the last couple of days I was out. I'm feeling better than I was yesterday, but I've still got a little sore spot on there,” said Britt. “There's no counting me out. I'm not counting myself out. I'm definitely hoping I can go.”
