Cowboys sign wide receiver LaRon Byrd

The Dallas Cowboys have signed veteran wide receiver LaRon Byrd, the team announced.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder went undrafted out of the University of Miami and went undrafted.

Byrd signed with the Arizona Cardinals and caught one pass for eight yards and had two tackles.

Last year, Byrd sustained a concussion and was placed on injured reserve.

He was cut last month.

At Miami, Byrd had 106 career receptions for 1,254 yards and seven touchdowns.
