League sources have confirmed to us here at The National Football Post that the NFL League Office has sent Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis a letter informing him that he was in violation of NFL league rules when he falsely accused the New England Patriots of tampering with then Raider wide receiver Randy Moss. This violation of NFL team policy and guidelines will certainly come with a hefty fine.
More on this story as it develops.
Can somebody please inform Al that he has been dead for quite some time now! What? He isn't dead? Really? He honestly looks like that? Dayum...!!!...
Gotta love lucian and all the other patriot haters. Washed up owners can say anything and if it involves the patriots it must be true?
Maybe if lucian had team like the pats, sox and c's to root for, he would not sound like the other cook (al davis).
Been a NFL fan for49 years. In this time I have seen Mr.Davis shoot himself in the foot without a loaded gum,oh you say it)s not,or cannot be,there you have it in silver&black.
Nikos, while your viewpoint is correct and I applaud you for bringing that information forward, I suggest you may want to tone down the patting yourself on the back for doing the digging and finding that story from 18 months ago; looks like somebody else did the heavy lifting for you.

Who should we believe, Al, or the self admitted liar, Belicheat?
18-1 david, 18-1
Hugh,
I wasn't patting myself on the back and I used to read PFT regularly before they morphed into football TMZ and I recalled the post myself. In any case even if I didn't the info is not the poster's original work so there is no need to credit them.
Now that NFP has come along this is where I get all my NFL info from.
PS - Nikos is a very common Greek name.
Nikos - I couldn't agree more re: PFT. I thought they were pretty good until about the last year or two; now that site is unreadable. NFP has become the first place I go to get my NFL info.
Aaron - unless Davis files a complaint with the NFL, they have nothing to investigate.
Dan (and Aaron) - click the links in the comments above, and check the dates of those stories (April '07) - it should make it clear that it is Davis who is 'mis-remembering' the events. The (false) accusation is all about Al's bitterness over Moss having success with the team that eliminated the Raiders in the 2001 playoffs.
Your owner has a serious problem. Stop using the Patriots as an outlet for lame excuses. You need to ask him to retire so he can be put in the wax museum.
File this next to the film vault with the spygate tapes that Goodell destroyed inadvertantly...
...you realize Al could probably subpoena that in a counter suit and get the commish on evidence destruction?
Let them eat replay!
Take away their 1st round pick and give it to the Pats. That will teach him to shut his mouth.
As Napoleon Dynamite would say - "Idiot!"

Al Davis is in the news every year. This is the longest running soap opera ever.
