DeSean Jackson questionable for preseason opener

Redskins coach Jay Gruden doesn't appear too worried about DeSean Jackson's health in the long-term.

After Wednesday's dual practice with the Patriots, Gruden told reporters that Jackson, who injured his ankle during the session, sustained a tweak and that it doesn't appear serious. However, Jackson is now questionable for Thursday's preseason opener against New England.

Expect the Redskins to take the cautious approach and sit Jackson out. There's no reason to play him if he's not 100 percent. The last thing Washington needs to do is risk re-injury to its top deep threat with a month to go before the regular season starts.
