Earl Bennett accepts pay cut
Chicago Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett has accepted a pay cut for the 2013 season, according to NFL reporter Brian McIntyre.
Bennett has agreed to make $1 million less than he was originally slated for this year.
Due a $2.25 million salary, Bennett will now make a base salary of $1.25 million. According to ESPN, Bennett can earn that money back based on the number of receptions he hauls in this year.
Since he was drafted by Chicago in 2008, Bennett has totaled 153 career catches for 2,034 yards and eight touchdowns.
