Fast times for Khalil Mack, Dee Ford

University of Buffalo outside linebacker Khalil Mack and Auburn outside linebacker Dee Ford both had impressive Pro Day workouts.

Mack ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 to 4.55 seconds, improving on his 4.65 from the NFL scouting combine.

His workout was attended by Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine, Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley and Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie.

Ford ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 and 4.59 seconds.

He had a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap and bench pressed 225 pounds 29 times. He weighed in at 244 pounds, eight less pounds than the combine.

Mack is regarded as a top 10 target. Ford is regarded as somewhere in the bottom half of the first round.
