From Judd Zulgad of The Minneapolis Star Tribune:

A few hours ago, we wrote that retired quarterback Brett Favre hasn’t been contact with the usual suspects when it comes to communicating his desire to play, or not play, since he was granted his release last week from the reserve/retired list by the New York Jets.
Well, now there has been contact with Favre. Former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer, who now works for ESPN, sent a text to Favre today asking if there was any chance he would consider playing in 2009. Favre responded in a return text with the word “NO.” And he put it in caps.
YAWN!!!

"NO" not at this exact moment, or second. Maybe later? Probably, but i think not.
After listening to my local radio, Packer Fan you are on blast. Simmer down with all the whining. He's only wanting the Viqueens because his old OC Bevill is there. If Bevill was in Denver,Jax or TB, he'd be there.
All i here is "Favres going to stick it to the Pack when they play" Well guess what? Whos to say the Pack isnt going to stick it to Favre? New defense or not, i guarantee McCarthy will have his team ready and that defense will show up. The picks will come, and he's going to lose a fumble. GUARANTEED.
GB 27 MIN 24 (last second Favre off the back foot pick)
I LOVE Favre, but it is time to ride off into the sunset, if he comes back oh well, so did Unitas, Montana, Rice, Namath, Reggie White, etc etc etc
