From Mike Reiss of The Boston Globe:
The Patriots have one of the strongest 1-2 wide receiver combinations in the NFL with Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

But who’s No. 3?
The Patriots explored one possibility on a Wednesday free-agent visit at Gillette Stadium – veteran Joey Galloway.
The 37-year-old Galloway has traditionally been regarded for his speed and high yards-per-catch average. Over his 14 seasons with Seattle (1995-99), Dallas (2000-2003) and Tampa Bay (2004-2008), he’s averaged 15.5 yards per reception.
Last year, he appeared in nine games, with just four starts, and was limited to 13 catches for 138 yards.
The Patriots' depth at receiver took a hit when Jabar Gaffney -- the No. 3 option in 2008 -- signed with the Broncos.

Well, I can't stand the Patriots (I'm in Indy!!) but I'm a BIG GALLOWAY FAN.
I think it'd be a good move for Joey as Brady moves the ball around and Moss/Welker would sure benefit from a field-stretcher like Galloway. Vice versa, Galloway would benefit from Moss/Welker as well.
Ugh though, a Patriot ? It'd get Joey a possible PLAYOFF berth (FINALLY) and possible Super Bowl.
I'd rather see Joey with the COLTS though !! Same scenario for him really, and a LIKEABLE team !! LOL.
