From Mike Sando of
ESPN.com:
The
Seattle Seahawks could be without quarterback
Matt Hasselbeck and left tackle
Walter Jones when they face the
New England Patriots in Week 14 at Qwest Field.
Both missed practice Friday. Both were expected to be listed as doubtful on the injury report.
Seneca Wallace took all of the first-team snaps in practice after Hasselbeck's lingering back issues flared up, preventing him from practicing.
Hasselbeck missed five games this season because of a bulging disk, which was pressing on a nerve and causing "dead leg."
"Not as severe," Holmgren said, when asked if Hasselbeck's current situation was the same as before, according to the Seattle Times. "But it's some of the same symptoms, yes."
A knee injury prevented Jones from practicing all week.
Right tackle
Sean Locklear would start at left tackle in Jones' place. Right guard
Ray Willis would move to right tackle.
Mansfield Wrotto would make his first regular-season start at right guard.
The Seahawks also placed starting left guard
Mike Wahle on injured reserve Friday. Starting center
Chris Spencer and
Rob Sims, who opened the season as the starter at right guard, are already on injured reserve.
Hasselbeck absorbed seven sacks during a 34-9 defeat to the
Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. He finished the game but experienced back trouble this week.

Odds that Addai plays this weekend? He's listed as questionable.
