From Rich Cimini of The New York Daily News:

Ryan continues to promote his young receivers (Chansi Stuckey, David Clowney, Brad Smith, Wallace Wright), but don't be too quick to buy into that. This is the club that talked for three months how much they liked Clemens, Brett Ratliff and Erik Ainge, then went out and made the deal for Sanchez. This is the club that raved about its running-back depth before the draft, then went out and traded up for Greene.
Make no mistake, the Jets remain interested in Plaxico Burress, who has a June 15 court date. If he somehow is available to play in 2009, even if it's for only 12 games (remember he could get slapped with a suspension by the commish), the Jets will be one of his most ardent suitors.
