Josh Gordon gets job at car dealership

If there was such a thing as a fantasy car salesmen league, Josh Gordon would be the first overall pick.

According to Pro Football Talk, Gordon has been hired by the Sarchione Auto Group as a goodwill ambassador. One of his responsibilities will be to sell cars, though he'll also make public appearances at community events for the company.

While this will grab a lot of attention due to the fact it's a top-tier NFL receiver becoming an everyday employee for the time being, it's good for Gordon to have a semblance of structure while he's away from football. If he sat around all day for the upcoming year, it could be easy to fall into bad habits.

By taking this job, it could also persuade NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to allow him to be reinstated immediately after his year-long suspension is complete. Of course, he still has the pending DUI case to worry about too, which could hamper things in that regard.

But this is definitely a step in the right direction for Gordon, who has an abundance of talent at his position. He'll just have to wait a while before he can get back to showcasing his abilities on a football field.
