From David White of the San Francisco Chronicle:
Raiders running back Darren McFadden has been added as a defendant in a civil lawsuit over his role in a fight last year at a Little Rock, Ark., piano bar, The Chronicle learned Thursday.

The incident happened Jan. 10, 2008 in his hometown - almost four months before the Raiders selected McFadden in the first round of the NFL draft.
A bouncer at the bar, Brant Hankins, was injured during the scuffle. He filed the suit against Ernie Briggs bar two months ago, then added McFadden and two of his brothers as "necessary parties" this week, according to McFadden's attorney Frank Shaw.
Hankins is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
The original police report classified the incident as a misdemeanor battery, but did not indicate who hit Hankins. McFadden was briefly handcuffed outside the bar until he calmed down, but was not charged.
