Michael Boley accused of child abuse

Officials in Gadsen, Ala., are investigating accusations of child abuse against New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley.

According to the TMZ.com report, Boley’s attorney says that the claims came along with “outrageous monetary demands.”

The Gadsen police department has turned over information to the district attorney’s office for consideration. Boley has been accused of abusing his 5-year-old son during the first week of May. Officials did not release any details.

“These allegations were brought to our attention along with outrageous monetary demands in a contested child support case which she filed over a year ago,” attorney Randall Kessler told TMZ. “At final trial about a month ago, she did not seek an order restricting visitation. The only relief she requested from the judge was that child support be more than quintupled to, in her words, ‘increase her lifestyle.’”
