ARLINGTON, Texas -- The NFL is giving Adam "Pacman" Jones another chance.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday the suspended cornerback has been reinstated by league commissioner Roger Goodell, but will not play this Sunday or the following game on Thanksgiving. That would peg his return for Dec. 7 at Pittsburgh.
Jerry Jones said Adam Jones could return to practice Monday. The owner said the player would have "limited participation" this week, but would not be part of full-squad practices or conditioning.
Pacman was suspended Oct. 14, a week after getting into an alcohol-related scuffle with a team-paid bodyguard. He played six games after missing the entire 2007 season for the Tennessee Titans because of repeated legal troubles.
I agree, he should be done. How many last chances is Pacman gonna get?
Goodell is spineless. He is coward and won't take a chance to disappoint Jerry Jones and Dallas fans.
Adam 'Pacman' Jones is the biggest creep since Ray Carouth and he should never play in the NFL again.
What a joke.
Well, the only thing you can say is that his last offense wasn't actually that big a deal. Who knows, maybe Pacman (I'm done with the whole "Adam" thing) will learn this time that the league is actually really serious that he can't get into ANY trouble.
I still hope it works out for him. It probably won't, but...
