- Growth in Visitors and Page Views Continues During Off-Season -

Philadelphia, PA, March 26, 2009 — The National Football Post, the insider source for the best news, analysis and insight on professional football, today announced that the site has achieved a significant online following and is continuing to see rapid growth even as the NFL and its fans batten down for the off-season.

For March 2009, the National Football Post is on track to achieve more than 200,000 unique visitors and generate more than 2 million page views, according to Google Analytics.  The site launched on August 11, 2008 and has quickly gained a following with its unique expert commentary.  Since December 2008, traffic to the site has nearly doubled.

In addition to significant site growth, the National Football Post recently signed a syndication deal with Yahoo! Sports to provide news, commentary and analysis for the 2009 NFL draft.

“We are told that it takes many sites years to record the kind of growth that The National Football Post has garnered in just seven months,” said co-founder Andrew Brandt.  “In that time, NFP has made itself a destination for football fans, the media and sports business people.  We are looking forward to an exciting year of expansion in the content and features we bring to our readers.”

The National Football Post now reaches hundreds of thousands of football fans hungry for expert analysis and commentary, in addition to breaking news and fantasy football.  In the last month, the site has expanded to include new sections devoted to NFL free agency and the 2009 NFL draft, which includes a mock draft.  Both of the new sections have spurred some of the highest day-to-day traffic numbers the site has seen to date.  NFP also has added a college football section that features on-the-ground reports from the nation’s six BCS conferences.

The National Football Post is composed of experienced and credible NFL insiders who have served as league executives, players and player representatives.  The site’s primary contributors include Andrew Brandt, Michael Lombardi, Jack Bechta, Joe Fortenbaugh, Matt Bowen and Wes Bunting.  The National Football Post also invites other insiders from the world of football to contribute their own views and opinions.

Congratulations guys, thanks for putting out information that can't be found anywhere else. Judging by the user comments I bet 25+% of those 200k visitors are Packer diehards. I found out about the NFP from a hat Al Harris was wearing during a locker room interview and I have been checking in every day for months now. By far the best offseason coverage I can find.
