Nick Foles fills in for injured Vick, impresses in Eagles win

The Eagles received a scare when Michael Vick left with a hamstring injury late in the first half in Philadelphia's 36-21 victory over the Giants.

Then Nick Foles came in and calmed any concern.

Foles was in full command of Philadelphia's offense, completing 16 of 25 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns in a little over a half. His favorite target was DeSean Jackson, who finishde the day with seven catches for 132 yards and a touchdown. All but two of Jackson's catches came from Foles.

If the injury doesn't linger, Vick will likely be Philadelphia's starter. If it does, and Foles continues to perform like this, Chip Kelly may have some thinking to do.

That said, Foles did this against the Giants. All quarterbacks have done this against the Giants. The Giants are now 0-5 with no sign of improving any time soon.
