SANTA CLARA, California (Ticker) - The San Francisco 49ers on Friday terminated the contract of offensive tackle Jonas Jennings.
An eight-year veteran, Jennings, 31, spent the past four seasons with the 49ers, appearing in just 23 games during that span. He was limited to five games or fewer in three of the four seasons.
A third-round pick of Buffalo in 2001, Jennings played in 52 games in four seasons with the Bills before signing with San Francisco as a free agent.
