No fifth-year option for Jonathan Cooper, Luke Joeckel and Chance Warmack

The New England Patriots didn't pick up a fifth-year option for guard Jonathan Cooper. The Tennessee Titans didn't pick up an option for offensive lineman Chance Warmack. Neither did the Jacksonville Jaguars for Luke Joeckel. Cooper was acquired via a trade from the Arizona Cardinals. Cooper broke his leg as arookie. He started 11 games over the previous two seasons. It would have cost $11.9 million for 2017 to use the option. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
