Patriots take precautions after Buccaneers' staph infection problem
The New England Patriots took precautions after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' recent outbreak of staph infections, guarding against any potential problems by sanitizing their facility, according to ESPN.
The Buccaneers visited the Patriots' facilities for a series of practices and scrimmages with two players, offensive guard Carl Nicks and kicker Lawrence Tynes, now dealing with staph infections.
So, the Patriots cleansed their locker room and the equipment used by the Buccaneers..
There have been no reported cases of staph for the Patriots, but they wanted to be careful.
