From Jason Reid of The Washington Post:
Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis, who recently added a rib muscle strain to his array of injuries, is considered only "50-50" to play Sunday against the New York Giants at FedEx Field, Coach Jim Zorn said yesterday.
"There's a chance he'll be there," Zorn said after practice at Redskins Park, "but he's still questionable."
Although hampered by a number of injuries throughout the season, Portis has not missed a game and leads the NFL with 1,206 rushing yards. Portis - who has seven touchdowns and a 4.9-yard average - rushed 29 times for 143 yards Sunday in a 20-17 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field.
After sitting out practice Wednesday and Thursday, Portis "took some reps" today, Zorn said.
