The Cincinnati Bengals no longer felt like they had to hold onto running back Bernard Scott.

After rookie runner Giovani Bernard scored twice in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Benjarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 75 yards, the Bengals have now cut running back Bernard Scott from the reserve-physically unable to perform list.

Scott tore his anterior cruciate ligament last season and played in just two games.

It's unclear if Scott is healthy enough to be signed by another team at this time.
