Initially, E.J. Manuel wasn't expected to be ready for the season-opener due to minor meniscus surgery.
But with Manuel ahead of schedule with his recovery, according to Bills coach Doug Marrone, the rookie first-round draft pick could be ready to start against the Patriots.
Manuel participated in individual drills on Sunday, to which his head coach was pleased.
“He looked good and we were excited about it. We’ll see how it goes later this week,” Marrone said, via the team's official twitter account.
The Bills have been reportedly pleased with Tuel's progress. But if there's a chance to have Manuel ready by the season-opener, it's a no-brainer to go with the first-round pick.
