The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who made significant efforts to boost season-ticket sales for this season, announced today that they will lower season passes for 2013 on 35 percent of the seats in Raymond James Stadium.
It marks the fifth consecutive year the Bucs will not raise ticket prices. Season tickets will be available for adults for as low as $30 per game with tickets for children priced at $15 per game.
Individual tickets will cost more and the Glazers are being pro-active in the hope that they can generate more interest in fans wanting to come to games next season. Tickets in the lower level that cost $75 this season will be lowered to $65 for next season.
Ticket sales – or a lack of sales – has been a major issue for the Bucs over the last few seasons as the majority of the team’s home games have been blacked out in the local television market. The team is being aggressive in marketing the team and a turnaround this season under first-year coach Greg Schiano should help. Ultimately, winning is the best marketing tool.
