The San Diego Chargers have signed safety Darrell Stuckey to a four-year contract, according to the team.
A former All-Big 12 selection at Kansas and a fourth-round draft pick, Stuckey had 21 tackles and one pass deflection last season.
"It feels good knowing Darrell will be back with us,” Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said in a statement. “He’s proven to be a very valuable member of both our defense and our special teams, as well as a positive influence in the locker room.”
For his career, Stuckey has 45 tackles, one pass deflection and two forced fumbles.
Stuckey, 26, is a special-teams standout who's the Chargers' special-teams captain.
