The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with the aftermath of a tough loss Sunday at Baltimore but they got some positive news today.
Running back DeMarco Murray has a sprained foot that could sideline him for this week’s game at Carolina but an MRI showed no serious damage, such as broken bones or a ligament injury, according to the team’s official Web site.
That’s a good sign for an offense that has yet to perform at peak level. Felix Jones did a credible job replacing Murray, rushing for 92 yards on 18 carries. Murray had 90 yards before he was injured and was on his way to a big game. With any luck, he’ll be back in the mix soon.
