Linebacker Derrick Brooks, wide receiver Marvin Harrison, offensive tackle Walter Jones and coach Tony Dungy were among the 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2014.

They were the first-year eligbile candidates that made the cut.

Also under consideration: kicker Morten Andersen, running back Jerome Bettis, pass rusher Charles Haley, safety John Lynch and defensive end Michael Strahan, commissioner Paul Tagliabue, coach Jimmy Johnson and offensive guard Steve Wisniewski.
