The Philadelphia Eagles have signed second-round wide receiver to a four-year contract.

Matthews caught 262 career passes for 3,759 yards and 24 touchdowns.

The former Vanderbilt standout was selected 42nd overall.

He's the Southeastern Conference's all-time leading receiver.

Last season, he caught 112 passes for 1,447 yards and seven touchdowns.

"Every opportunity I've had in football, I've had to work for it," Matthew said after being drafted. "Nothing was ever given to me. When the ball's in the air, it's mine. That's kind of my attitude whenever I go out on the field."
