The Atlanta Falcons signed offensive tackle Mike Johnson to a one-year contract.

He fractured his fibula and dislocated his left ankle, a gruesome injury that ended his season and required surgery.

Johnson is a former third-round draft pick who has played in 18 career games.

Johnson is a former Alabama standout who started for four seasons.
