Dorian Johnson, a Rivals.com four-star offensive tackle who recently decommitted from Penn State following the NCAA's sanctions against the Nittany Lions, has eliminated Virginia Tech from his list of possible destinations.

The 6-6, 285-pound Belle Vernon High School (Belle Vernon, PA) product, who is considered one of the best offensive tackles in the country, has narrowed his choices to Pittsburgh and Ohio State, according to Mike White of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Johnson will likely go on a few official visits during his senior season, and he may in fact visit more teams other than the Panthers and Buckeyes. But it will be interesting to see if Pitt can capitalize on in-state recruits following the sanctions placed against Penn State.

Johnson also holds offers from major powers such as Alabama, Notre Dame and Georgia.
